'On Living' by Nâzim Hikmet elected most beautiful Turkish poem ever written
Just before the local elections in Turkey, on Friday 28 March in The Hague, the most beautiful Turkish poem ever written was elected in The Hague. The poem  Yaşamaya Dair (On living) by Nâzim Hikmet gained the large majority of votes. 

Seven writers, poets, politicians and journalists of Turkish/Dutch and Dutch descent each presented a poem of their choice. The audience added three more poems. After a vote in the theatre, there was one obvious winner. The poem by Hikmet (...) read more

South-East-Asia Write Award for Linda Christanty
The Indonesian writer and journalist Linda Christanty received the 2013 S.E.A Write Award, a southeast asian literary award. The award has initiated by Thai kingdom and some sponsors 35 years ago. Christanty is one of our guests at the Writers Unlimited Festival in January 2014 in The Hague.
